UNICEF Partnership: Supporting Blind Communities in Africa
In 2023, FGi Global Solutions collaborated with UNICEF to enhance educational opportunities for blind individuals in Africa. As a contracted partner, FGi facilitated the sourcing, procurement, and delivery of Braille readers to communities in Ethiopia. This initiative aimed to empower education and foster inclusivity for visually impaired individuals, ensuring they have access to essential learning resources. Leveraging strong partnerships with research foundations and manufacturers, FGi successfully executed the project, demonstrating a commitment to innovation and social impact.
