Sourcing Assistant

Job Overview:

We are looking for a Sourcing Assistant to support our Procurement Sales and Sourcing Specialist. In this remote role, you will assist with a large list of RFQs (Request for Quotations), search for items, and work with manufacturers and dealers to get the best pricing while meeting deadlines. You will also assist with operations to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Key Responsibilities are as follows but not limited to:

• Help manage and process a large list of RFQs.
• Search for the right suppliers, manufacturers, and dealers to meet our needs.
• Obtain and compare quotes from suppliers to ensure the best possible pricing.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers to meet deadlines and ensure timely delivery.
• Assist with the initial evaluation of supplier qualifications, certifications, and capabilities.
• Help with pre-qualification processes and documentation as directed by the Sourcing Manager.
• Provide insights and recommendations on potential sourcing strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of quotes, contracts, and procurement decisions.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery status and ensure on-time shipments.
• Verify that supplier invoices match the initial quotes and agreed terms.
• Provide general administrative support to the procurement team as needed.

This is a remote position with flexible working hours, allowing you to adjust your schedule to meet deadlines.
